Exercise your intuitive muscle!

Everyone was born intuitive, no exceptions. Most of us had imaginary friends when we were young and we were told that was not acceptable. We let our friends fade into the background noise of our lives. Going through the linear process of school, Kindergarten in particular, our intuitive “muscle” was beaten out of us. We were instructed not to use our imagination often times punished for doing so. Imagination is where our intuition resides.

 

More now than ever the use of intuition from the boardroom to the bedroom is commonplace. Yes, intuitive sex is a definite reality. Magazines such as Time and Newsweek are investigating the concept and major business moguls are openly stating that they believe in and use intuition not only in their successful business lives but in their personal lives as well. Oprah and Donald Trump both admit hoe following their intuition has made them millions.

 

Increasing your intuitive abilities begins with an awareness of everyday mundane situations.

 

The exercises included below are intended to be of assistance in dialing you back in tune with your intuition. There is no right or wrong answers here, just an observation of what is. By increasing our awareness through the process of observing, we truly begin to “see” beyond the illusion of the physical.

 

Exercise Set 1

• Guess who is calling on the phone before checking caller ID.

• Guess who will be the next person to visit your home. Write it down so you can check your accuracy later.

• Guess how many pieces of mail await you in your mail box. Include junk mail if you wish.

• When driving guess the color of the car that will be next to you at the stop light.

• When checking out at the grocery store, guess the total amount of your purchases before the cashier rings you up. Dollars and cents.

• Guess what color outfit a particular co-worker will wear the next day.

• Guess what a particular utility bill amount due is before opening the envelope

 

Exercise Set 2

• When entering a room take note of how the energy feels. Remember there is no right or worng, just what is.

• Close your eyes and mentally “see” the numbers 1-10. You can give them a color if you wish, however make sure you can clearly see the number.

• Take notice of numbers or colors that keep repeating themselves in a 12 hour period.

• Know the exact time without looking at the clock. Practice make perfect on this one.

• When watching a movie, guess what the next scene will be or the outcome of the plot.

• When out in public guess what the sex will be of the next person to smiles at you.

• Visualize one number that will show up in your states lottery. I know several people who have built up to the 7 numbers and won the lottery.

 

Exercise Set 3

• Before going to the store visualize exactly where your parking space will be. Keep note of your accuracy.

• Get out a deck of playing cards. Place them face down after shuffling them. Place your hand on a card. Feel (guess) the color and number or letter of the card. Turn the card over and note your accuracy. Then energetically feel for the matching card that is face down. Turn it over. Remember not to judge yourself. Again practice makes perfect.

• Rub the palm of your hands together vigorously. Make sure they are nice and warm. Next, separate your hand about 6 inches from each other with palms facing each other. Move your hands in a back and forth motion and feel the energy in the space between your hands. It helps most people to close their eyes while doing this. Note what you feel.

• When stopped at a red light. Focus your energy on it turning green. Notice how long it takes for the light to change. If you practice this exercise, you will find that light change at your request.

• When conversing with someone, Pay attention to where you feel their words hitting your body. We have 7 main energy centers in our bodies which receives information constantly. By paying attention to where the “words” are “hitting” your body you become more in tune with the energetic field around you which in turn open your intuition.

 

When performing any of the aforementioned exercise it is best to be in a light hearted good mood. When you are depressed, cranky, or just not in a positive frame of mind, you intuition is “clouded” and your thinking unclear. Take a few moments before engaging with any intuitive exercise and breathe slowly and deeply. Try this exercise, breathe in through your nose for a count of four hold your breath for a count of two and breathe out through your mouth for a count of four. Repeat the process for at least five minutes. This process will relax you and open your senses so you can tune into your intuition.

 

The old saying Rome was not built in a day definitely applies when working with Intuition IQ development. It takes practice to begin to trust you again. Don’t give up if you have not reached your pinnacle of success as quickly as you would have imagined. Believe in yourself as you move forward with the intent of opening to your intuition. Your intuitive ability never left you; it atrophied due to lack of use. But like with any other muscle it will come back with the proper exercise.

 

Meditation is an important process of intuition development. As the process of meditation helps you to relax, your open up your intuitive channels and start to download all type of information. You will begin to see, feel, hear and just know all types of information. You will tune into the subtle vibrations surrounding you.

 

Another method to hone your intuitive skills is to keep a journal. Recording your intuitive impression, coincidences and thoughts are a source of validation when they come true. It allows your brain and body to believe that you do have abilities which fosters more opportunities for you to tune into the energy surrounding you. You can literally watch your progress in your journal.

 

The practice of visualization is an excellent way to open your third eye. Sometimes intuitive information comes to us as pictures in our minds. Practicing visualization will perfect your ability to “see” with your third eye. Look at an object in 3D, notice all of its features then close your eyes and replicate the object in your minds eye. Visualization exercises will help you receive such messages accurately. One way to practice is to look at a picture then close your eyes and try to see the picture in your mind exactly as it is. Keep practicing to master your visualizing abilities.
